Ceremonies Set To Sign Smoking Ban
A ceremony is set for 10 am Friday at the Statehouse for the Governor to put his name on the Kansas Clean Indoor Air Act.

Topeka (WIBW) - Gov. Mark Parkinson is set to sign a statwide smoking ban into law.
A ceremony is set for 10 am Friday at the Statehouse for the Governor to put his name on the Kansas Clean Indoor Air Act. He will be joined by state lawmakers and health advocates.
Ceremonial bill signings will also be held Monday, March 15, in Kansas City and Salina.
The Kansas City event will take place at 1:30 pm Monday in the School of Nursing Atrium at University of Kansas Medical Center. The Salina event is set for 3:30 pm Monday at the Salina-Saline County Health Department.
