OLATHE, Kan. (AP) _ A former nursing home employee has been sentenced to nearly 19 years in prison for attacking two residents.
Momodou Jallow of Lenexa Wednesday was sentenced for raping one resident and trying to rape another.
A Johnson County District Court jury found the 28-year-old guilty in May of the attacks at the Indian Creek Nursing Home in Overland Park.
A defense attorney says Jallow would be deported to his home country of Gambia upon his release.
Jallow was accused of raping a 49-year-old stroke patient in 2005.
