WIBW Anchors Help Award Excellence
Topeka's hospitality industry was honored Monday at an awards luncheon celebrating the impact of tourism on Capitol City and some of the city's best employees and hotels.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)_ Topeka's hospitality industry was honored Monday at an awards luncheon celebrating the impact of tourism on Capitol City and some of the city's best employees and hotels.
13 News anchors Ralph Hipp and Melissa Brunner emceed the event at the Holiday Inn Holidome. It was hosted by the Topeka Lodging Association and Visit Topeka, Inc.
Maura Gast, executive director of the Irving Texas Convention and Visitors Bureau addressed attendees offering tips on how Topeka can improve tourism.
