Fire Destroys Lawrence Apartment
An apartment that caught on fire in Lawrence Monday night has been declared a total loss. Nobody was injured in the fire. The American Red Cross and and the University of Kansas are assisting displaced residents

TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)-- An apartment that caught on fire in Lawrence Monday night has been declared a total loss.
Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Medical was called to the blaze at 1700 Tennessee in Lawrence just before 10 p.m. Monday night. The two story apartment building was completely engulfed in flames when crews arrived.
Nobody was injured in the fire. The American Red Cross and and the University of Kansas are assisting displaced residents.
Authorities are investigating the cause of that fire.
