Kelsey Smith will be remembered during two services this week.

A visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. tomorrow for the slain 18-year-old from Kansas.

A memorial service is planned for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Both services will be at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in the Kansas City suburb of Leawood.

Smith was abducted a week ago from a Target store parking lot in
Overland Park, another Kansas City suburb.

Her body was found Wednesday about 20 miles from where she was kidnapped.

She had been strangled.

Authorities now say Smith died shortly after her abduction.

Twenty-six-year-old Edwin Hall has been charged in the kidnapping and killing.

I cannot completetly understand how any chap or laddy could hurt or kill such a beautiful lady like Kelsey Smith. It really breaks my heart in a million pieces. How could anyone commit such human cruelty to such a lovely lady or anyone? Noone who is sweet,kind,compassinate,warm- hearted deserves to be hurt by noone. There is no excuse for it.It is the work of the devil not GOD. There are too many evil doers running around doing the devil's work when they should be serving JESUS not Satan. My whole heart goes out to Kelsey's family.Let them know that someone cares. All I can say is Jesus is the judge and this young laddy will be judged according the word of god,the holy Bible. Again,My deepest sympathy to the family. Kelsey Smith is in the loving arms of JESUS right now.Be comforted by this news.

To the family, I am extremely sorry to hear about your lost. I kept praying Lord please let her be safe, let this be a good ending. We don't always understand why the lord allows things to happen. Four years ago when my brother was found murdered my family and I had to trust God and because of that justice was served when my brother's killer were convicted. Trust God and seek peace, with time it does get better.
