Topeka (WIBW) - A group of second graders took time to brighten the days of some local police officers.
Students from Heritage Christian School brought Christmas cookies and holiday cheer with them when they dropped by the Law Enforcement Center Monday.
The stutdents said that since officers usually deal with people on their worst day, they wanted to do something to make the officers' day a little better.
The students sang some carols on their own and the Topeka Police officers on hand joined in singing a few as well.
