Keeping the state's schools and students safe was the goal of one meeting today. It was the very first meeting of the Governor's Healthy and Prepared Schools task force. There are 14 members that will make sure all Kansas schools are ready for any challenge they could face. The group is taking a comprehensive approach and looking at every angle of everything from a gas leak to a shooting.
