WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ An Iraqi citizen wanted for murder in Iraq is charged with making false statements when he bought two handguns in Wichita.

U.S. Attorney Eric Melgren says Mohammed Ziboon, 26, is wanted in Iraq for the murder of his cousin. Federal authorities say Ziboon denies killing his cousin.

Melgren says federal agents found Ziboon's name on pawn shop records showing he bought two handguns within two weeks. He falsely stated on the forms that he was a U-S citizen and was not under indictment in any court.

Ziboon is charged with two counts of making false statements to purchase a firearm.
