A Kansas lawmaker has come up with a way
to help Greensburg residents find out what's going on in the
tornado-stricken town.

It's a Web site -- www.GreensburgKS.org. Kansas House member Mike Burgess of Topeka describes it as a ``one stop shop for the city of Greensburg.'' Burgess runs a Web development company called Spinnaker LLC, which is donating its services to Greensburg.

The site is now the city's official Web site. Officials are
updating it constantly with news and progress reports on the city's
rebuilding. Residents can add their e-mail addresses to get the
updates sent to them.

People wanting to donate to Greensburg can also go to the site
and click on the words ``How to Help.'' Burgess says he came up with the idea just as Greensburg officials were talking about setting up an official Web site.

I,m glad that we residents can hopefully keep up with what is going on. My job requires me to work in a area 3 hours away and its very hard to attend town meetings. with this web site I can keep up with the latest news.
