Waters from Mission Creek are slowly rising and threatening a historic Bed and Breakfast in Dover, KS. Formerly a stop on the Oregon Trail, the now Sage Inn was built in 1878.

The owner noticed the waters rising Sunday morning and the waters have since been slowly creeping towards the building. Several local church members and neighbors were able to take sand from a project and help block the building from the waters. Owner Joan Benjamin says that they are ready to come back if the waters break the barricade.

This is the third time that waters have threatened the building in the past three years.
