OK - Those of you who know Bob and Barbara Hubert you can contact me at cbhubert@sbcglobal.net. I tried to get in touch with you all by the postings on this website, but phone numbers are not obtainable. Bob and Barbara are fine and living on Bob's fathers farm near Greensburg, ks. If you get in touch with me I will discuss how to get a hold of them. My husband Bobby was there for nine days right after the storm and has incredible pics and video, even 2 tornadoes going right by the farm Sat after the big one. Take care and thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

(continued from below) There is also no listing for Bob or Barbara on the Red Cross's Safe and Well List, so we are really in the dark. If anyone can get word to Barbara and let her know that people in her hometown of Cuero, Texas are asking about her and her husband's welfare, it would be much appreciated. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I feel so sorry for all the people in Greensburg. That is so sad that there isn't even a building without damage. Well i wish i could send some money or something, but I am still recovering from Katrina. I hope Greensburg recovers.

To Gary Barr, Cathy Hubert and Kate Hubert, and anyone else who might be able to answer this: My father and many of his former classmates have also been trying to reach or get information on Bob and Barbara Hubert. Barbara was a classmate of my dad's at Cuero High School in Cuero, Texas, and we haven't been able to find out whether or not her farm outside of Greensburg was hit by the tornado. We have been receiving a lot of calls from other former classmates from all over Texas wondering if she and her husband are okay. It's my understanding that Bob is originally from the Greensburg area, and there is an online phone listing for what appears to be another Bob Hubert in Haviland, who may also be relative, though we have not been able to get in touch with anyone at that number. There is also no listing for Bob or Barbara on the Red Cross's Safe

Cathy Hubert (Houston)-I think we're related! My dad is Bill Hubert, and I believe Robert Hubert is his cousin. You wrote that your husband flew out there and that his family and friends are okay. That's great news! I hope you're well.

One report said that the town was evacuated Saturday during the day because of tornado warnings. Was that a false report? And is there a local church or organization to which we could send money or clothes/quilts etc. I am NOT a Red Cross fan....

My ex-husband's hometown is Greensburg. My kids Grandparents have lived there all their life. I heard all kinds of fun stories about Jeff's growing up years. It is a wonderful town! I loved visiting!! It is unreal that it is GONE! I cannot believe my eyes when I see the pictures! SO sad. Jeff is pretty tore up but his parents are alive and well, thank the Lord! I pray for everyone who is going through this terrible time.

We drove thru Greensburg on our way from AZ to WI on 4/29. Has anyone set up a fund where we could contribute? Barneveld WI was totally destroyed by a tornado years ago but did rebuild and is a beautiful town today - good luck to all.

My husbands family and him are from Greensburg. Born and raised there. Personally, over 100 years of family and friends and history. My husband flew out yesterday to find his parents and friends. Parents are ok but the house of course is GONE. Friends that he has heard from are ok. He is devestated and in complete shock. Please pray for all of them.
