TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – You can help children in need this holiday season, by visiting the Angels Among Us Giving Trees on the Washburn University Campus.
The trees have angel tags hanging on their branches, with a gift to purchase written on the tag. After buying the gift, organizers ask participants to return the tag and unwrapped gift to the tree by Friday, December 4th.
These gifts will then be donated to the Topeka Rescue Mission, Let’s Help, Doorstep and KVC Behavioral Health Care.
The trees are again on the Washburn University campus, at these locations:
Living Learning Center, in the lobby, at 1801 SW Jewell.
Multicultural Affairs Office, in Morgan Hall, room 110.
Campus Ministry, 1621 SW Boswell.
Catholic Campus Center, 1633 Jewell.
Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, 1745 SW Jewell.
