Topeka (WIBW) - More adults will be able to get the H1N1 vaccination in Shawnee County.

The Shawnee County Health Agency announced Friday it would expand its target groups for the vaccine to include adults ages 25 to 64 who have underlying health conditions.

Other target groups will remain the same. Those include health care workers, pregnant women, children 6 months through 24 years and caregivers of children 6 months and younger.

The agency will hold its fifth H1N1 vaccination clinic from 3 to 7 pm Tuesday, December 1st at the Kansas ExpoCentre.

As a reminder, children under age 9 who received the H1N1 vaccine require a second dose 28 days later. This would be the first clinic to do that for those who received their first dose at the agency's first clinic.

The Shawnee County Health Agency does not charge for the H1N1 vaccine.
