Horton, Kansas (WIBW) -- A community continues its search for a missing friend and loved one, Patricia Kimmi disappeared from her Atchison County home nearly two weeks ago.

Patricia's children made a desperate plea for the public's help in finding their 58-year-old mother who they say is still out there.

"We will find the truth, no matter what happened,” Patricia’s daughter Rita Boller cried out Thursday.

And that was a sentiment shared by many. It’s unknown why or how Patricia Kimmi went missing earlier this month but family and friends still have hope.

That’s what inspired her grandchildren to hang these white ribbons around her yard hoping grandma will make it home.

Family members say that Patricia would have had two items when she went missing, a grandmother’s ring holding 13 birthstones for her 13 grandchildren and a memory band honoring her 11-year-old granddaughter, Taylor, who passed away 2 years ago.

Hundreds of volunteers have conducted a multi-county search the past two weekends and Thursday the family raised the stakes. Her children are now offering a $10,000 reward to anyone with tips that lead to an arrest.

"We will find you, we will bring you home, no matter what and bring who did this a day of reckoning,” Boller promised.

Volunteers will once again be out this weekend searching for Patricia. They are meeting at 9 Saturday morning at Horton’s fire station.
