Emporians Enjoy Ham & Bean Feeds After Veterans Day Festivities
After the Veterans Day Parade and Memorial service were finished, many in Emporia headed to the Ham and Bean Feed.

EMPORIA, Kan. (WIBW) -- After the Veterans Day Parade and Memorial service were finished, many in Emporia headed to the Ham and Bean Feed.
The American Legion Post 5 as well as the Veterans and Foreign Wars Post 1980 hosted the traditional luncheon.
The meal is free for Veterans, and others are asked to give a donation for partaking in the meal.
The American Legion Post said they planned on serving 300 people homestyle beans and ham,with corn bread and apple pie Wednesday afternoon.
