Wamego (WIBW) - The votes are in and Wamego's Central Elementary school will get an expansion and renovation.

Unofficial results show 922 yes votes to 327 no votes for a $9.3 million bond issue for USD 320. Pottawatomie County Clerk Susan Figge said about 29 percent of voters cast ballots in Tuesday's election.

The money will add six new kindergarten classrooms, two new preschool rooms and new offices for staffers. One of the rooms would also be designed as a storm shelter.
