The students in Miss Hamlin's second grade class at Quinton Heights Elementary were visited by U.S. Senator Pat Roberts.
Senator Roberts read to the students as part of his year long effort to promote reading in the state. His goal is to promote literacy in Kansas schools, and reading to Kansas school children is one way that he is trying to do that.
