ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (CNN) – Four suspected militants were killed Wednesday when a suspected U.S. drone fired missiles at two vehicles in Pakistan’s northwest tribal region, officials said.
A local government official and an intelligent official said the attack happened around 2 p.m. in Nurak, a village just east of the city of Miran Shah, which is in North Waziristan. The officials asked not to be identified because they are not authorized to speak to the media.
They said three other suspected militants were injured in the attack. This is the third suspected U.S .drone strike in Pakistan’s tribal region in the past 24 hours.
