Bluemont Elementary Gets New Principal

Manhattan-Ogden USD 383 found its new principal from within its own ranks. Kathy Stitt, a fifth grade teacher at Amanda Arnold Elementary School, has been named the new principal at Bluemont Elementary school.
Mrs. Stitt has a M.S. in Educational Administration and Leadership and a B.S. from K.S.U. She has been an elementary teacher at USD 383 since 1989 and has served as a clinical instructor/ teacher leadership cadre member for the district.
Mrs. Stitt will be taking over the school when it opens in August.
