Huff and Puff Balloon Rally Begins
The annual Huff and Puff Balloon Rally at Lake Shawnee began tonight.

The annual Huff and Puff balloon rally kicked off at Lake Shawnee's Tinman Circle. The sky was soon full of balloons. Pilots launched their balloons til sunset. When the sun went down, several balloons put on a show of glow! They were lit up to showcase their brilliant color schemes like large oil lanterns sitting on the lake grounds. Weather permitting, they will take off again at seven Saturday morning. The event benefits Topeka's Ronald McDonald House.

awsome show, great work by local pd getting everyone in and out safely. kids were stunned by the night show. great to see how you could get right up with the balloons to enjoy.
