A cold front is moving through the area, bringing widespread rain as well as much cooler temperatures and lower humidity behind it. The main line is continuing to push east-southeast.
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)__The 57th Annual Topeka Gem and Mineral Show at Agricultural Hall had guests in awe of the precious stones and other items on display.
Guests could be seen scanning cases of different colored stones, making selections for custom jewelry and just observing some neat fossils.
Dealers from all over the state came to show off their gems, minerals, fossils and jewelry for attendees.
At one end of the hall a giant dinosaur scapula could be seen towering over the display cases. A silent auction was held as well and 4H and Jr. Rockhounds had displays set up.
