Shawnee County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a possible methamphetamine lab.

A deputy found an unoccupied 1994 Chevy Corsica around 10:15 Tuesday morning in the 4000 block of SW 69th.

Authorities say the vehicle put out a strong odor of ammonia.

The investigation led to 31-year old James Ross.

He was arrested on charges of manufacturing and possessing meth.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment was called to the scene for clean up.
