Republican Congressman Todd Tiahrt says he is concerned about President Bush's plan to increase U.S. troop levels in Iraq. But he stresses the need to win the conflict as part of the overall global war on terror.
Democrat Nancy Boyda is critical of the heath care proposal that Bush presented in his State of the Union speech.
It would give most workers with employer health coverage a tax cut, but it would mean a tax increase for about 20 percent of workers with higher benefits.
Republican Jerry Moran says Bush's focus on renewable sources of energy is positive for national security and for the state's rural economy. Moran is reserving judgment on the health care proposal.
Democrat Dennis Moore is commending Bush for pledging to work in a bipartisan manner. He supports the call for energy independence and increased health coverage.
