Stormy Morning Across Northeast Kansas
Storms rolled across Northeast Kansas Tuesday morning causing some power outages and dropping heavy rain in some areas.

Topeka, Kansas (WIBW) - Storms rolled across Northeast Kansas Tuesday morning causing some power outages and dropping heavy rain in some areas.
A house fire was reported in Meriden, KS at 215 E. Main Street. That according to Jefferson County Emergency Manager Jeff Schmitt. The fire was believed to have been started by a lightening strike. Fire crews were able to extinguish the fire fairly quickly. It's not known how much damage was done to the structure.
As of 6:30am Tuesday there were about 350 Westar customers without power.
