5 Shot Near SW Atlanta High School, Believed To Be Students

ATLANTA (CBS46) - Five people were shot near Therrell High School in southwest Atlanta Tuesday afternoon.

According to John Chafee with Atlanta police, the shooting was in the area of Panther Trail and Childress Drive. The shooting did not occur on school property.

The victims are believed to be students of the school, according to Kimberly Green with Atlanta Public Schools. They were all transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta with non life-threatening injuries.

All after-school activities have been canceled.
