Let it show

Topeka Civic Theatre board members are helping sell a calendar full of people in the nude to raise money for the theatre. They held a calendar signing at the theatre Wednesday night to launch the sale. Each of the calendar models came to the event to sign autographs.

The pictures in the calendar show the models in the nude, but strategically covered up. However, in the actual photographs most of the models posed for the pictures wearing swimsuits. Alterations were made with a computer touch-up program to make them appear to be wearing nothing. Jeannie Herrin, the development director for the theatre says, "We wanted to come up with a unique creative way to raise money."

The models weren't the only ones who volunteered to put the calendar together. The pictures and publishing for the calendar were also done free of charge.
