Accident On Highway 24 Kills Bicyclist

Topeka, KANSAS (WIBW) -- A bicyclist is dead after a collision with an SUV Saturday night. The Shawnee County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened around 9:45 p.m. at NW Highway 24 and Goodyear Road.
Law enforcement has been unable to find the family of the victim, so no identification can be released at this time. He is a white male.
The Toyota 4-Runner overtook the cyclist from the rear. It has been reported by the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office the bicyclist did not have any lights or reflectors on the bike.
A child from the SUV was treated for a cut and released.
The driver submitted to an alcohol test, which is normal procedure. The results are not back yet. The investigation continues.

I just received a phone call from my sister telling me that a police person came to her home,to let her know that her son had been in a car accident saturday on 13th of june 2009.they could not give her any details of what or how it happened.only that he had died,and to call the police station in topeka ks.for more information.how can I find out if it was my nephew.I live in arizona and she lives in florida.any information would be great. it's so very hard to beleive he's gone.48 years old is too young to die. thanks!

jack- I drove by right afterwards and saw this poor guy in the grass, trust me he didn't have a helmet, its a sad sad, case that hopefully will open the eyes of others...both side of this I am sure are forever sadden by this
