Osage City (WIBW) - Authorities say a man who died in an overnight house fire set the fire himself.
The blaze was reported at 275 Main Street in Osage City early Thursday morning.
Investigators say 37-year-old John Couch intentionally set the fire. They say he died of smoke inhalation...
A neighbor says Couch lived in the home with his wife and 5 children. They were not there at the time of the fire.
A fund has been set up to help the family. Donations may be sent to Landmark National Bank, P.O. Box 244, Osage City, KS, 66523.

Our heart's go out to the Kyle and her family! This was a horrible tragic event! My family and I live next door to this family and John's death has came to a shock to everyone. We are all preying for the Couch family and if anyone is able to make any type of donation to help this family please do, They not only lost a husband and a father but they also lost there home and belonging's and at this time of need I am sure that every little bit would help!
