TOPEKA, Kan.-- A wreck Sunday afternoon claimed the lives of 3 people in Washington County.
It happened around 3 p.m. just North of Linn, Kansas.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol. Gilbert and Carolyn Luehring of Nebraska were traveling Northbound on K-9 when the vehicle they were driving went left of center. Their vehicle struck a vehicle driven by 16-year-old Eric Heward of Barnes, Kansas who had been travelling in the Southbound lanes. Heward's vehicle flipped and landed in a ditch.
All three individuals were killed. According to KHP all three were wearing their seatbelts.
