Topeka, KS -- A Topeka group that calls themselves the Heart Shockers held their annual picnic Sunday at Marilyn and Charlie Wooster's barn.
The Heart Shockers are a support group for people who have implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) and their family members.
Dr. Samuel Sears, who has done extensive research on the psychology of wearing a defibrillator, spoke at the event.
