A Washburn University student is dead after being hit while walking in a roadway.

A Washburn University student is dead after being hit while walking in a roadway.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 23-year-old Jakub Rostik was walking in the street on Sunday night in Concordia Missouri.

Police say the driver approaching him was watching another pedestrian and then hit Rostik who was majoring in music at Washburn University.
