They may not be able to fit 100 candles on her birthday cake, but it's still the thought, and the celebration, that count.
Felicia McGinley celebrated her 100th birthday at Atria Hearthstone East Sunday.
McGinley taught school in the Topeka area and lots of her students stay in touch with her.
Some of them came to the party Sunday, along with family members.
"Through her life, she's taught, she's been a volunteer at the hospital. And it's amazing the number of people that come and comment on the service that she's provided other people her entire life," said McGinley's nephew, Tim McGinley.
What's her secret? Mcginley says she stays active, even at the century mark.
