Police Suspect DUI in Macvicar Wreck
Police say they believe 35-year old Adam Cloyd was driving under the influence when he ran the stop sign at 12th and Macvicar, colliding with a vehicle driven by 39-year old Sheldon Smith.

Topeka Police say they believe a drunk driver is to blame for an accident that sent two people to the hospital.
It happened just after 10:30 pm Wednesday at 12th and Macvicar.
Police say 35-year old Adam Cloyd was westbound on 12th and ran the stop sign at Macvicar, colliding with a vehicle driven by 39-year old Sheldon Smith.
Police say they suspect Cloyd was driving under the influence. He was treated for his injuries at a hospital and released.
Smith also was injured. His injuries were considered serious when he was taken from the scene. The hospital is not releasing an update on his condition.
