HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) _ The mother of an infant girl who was found dead in the backyard of a Hutchinson home will go in trial in November.
The 17 year-old is being tried as a juvenile in the case. During an arraignment on Tuesday, she denied three counts of unlawful voluntary sexual relations. That is the same as pleading not guilty in adult court.
The case will go to a bench trial November 15th.
The charges stem from the discovery of the full-term baby in March. The child was dubbed Baby Jane, until her mother was arrested. She has since been named Annabelle. The cause of death has not been determined.
Farley's mother, Kimberley Beshears, is charged with aiding a felon. The child's teenage father has not been charged in the case.
