A 23-year-old man is dead after his vehicle was hit head-on by an SUV going the wrong way on Interstate 70 near Junction City.

The highway patrol identifies the dead man as Bryan Tyler Jobe of Kansas City, Kansas. The other driver was 38-eight-year-old Laura Fisher of Abilene, who's listed in fair condition at a Topeka hospital.

Troopers say Fisher was traveling west on eastbound I-70 at about 9:30 Tuesday night when her vehicle hit Jobe's SUV head-on.

Both drivers were airlifted to hospitals.
