School violence tops the headlines once again Friday. A 15-year old student at a Wisconsin school shot the school's principal Friday morning the principal has since died of his injuries.

There are also new details on this week’s tragic hostage situation and shooting in a Colorado school. School officials work hard to keep guns and intruders out of classrooms, but many worry about the role popular internet sites play in student's safety.

When students step into school hallways they have more to worry about than tests and friends. Carrie Burgoon a Shawnee Heights High School student says she wishes she didn’t have to worry about her safety, “I don't think it's very fair because we're innocent people and we can be perfectly fine people and there's people out there who can ruin for us."

On Wednesday, Duane Morrison held six girls hostage at a high school in Bailey, Colorado, killing one of them. Authorities are investigating the possibility Morrison was stalking the girls on www.myspace.com. With so many teens logging onto popular chat websites school officials say they have more to worry about.

Shawnee Heights District Police Officer Kyle Scheideman says security measures will have to continuously change, “It's here, we're going to have to deal with it. The more we're aware the safer they're going to be, the less the students will have to worry." Scheideman suggests students limit the information the put on their profiles and only talk to friends online
