A Topeka man is sent to prison for more than 13 years for killing a passenger when he crashed his truck while driving drunk.

Shawnee County District Judge Thomas Conklin sentenced 60-year-old Glenn R- Triebwasser yesterday to 13 and a half years in prison.

Triebwasser was convicted last month of involuntary manslaughter while under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended license, failure to maintain a single land and a seat belt infraction.

Forty-year-old Billie Jo Baldwin of Meriden was killed in April 2005 when Triebwasser's rolled over on Interstate 70.

Triebwasser had been convicted of drunken driving nine times since 1974 and was sentenced under a 2004 state law allowing longer sentences for repeat offenders.
