Police are investigating whether members of the Baldwin City High School football team took illegal prescription drugs.
Baldwin City Police Chief Mike McKenna says police received information that several team members took a drug prescribed for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder before a game in Paola, which the team lost.
McKenna says several students and some adults had been interviewed but no arrests have been made and no charges have been filed.
Baldwin School District attorney Bob Bezek confirms the investigation but declines comment on if students have been disciplined.
