(AP) Police said a man and woman wanted in a shoplifting were arrested after she allegedly stabbed him. A 36-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were riding in a car on Sunday night when they started arguing. Police said the woman accused the man of stealing her medication and stabbed him in the shoulder and slit her wrists.
The state police investigator working on the stabbing case recognized the pair from a robbery at Kmart where the two allegedly stole more than $1,000 in diamond earrings.
After they were treated for their wounds at the hospital, police said they were arrested on shoplifting and conspiracy charges. The woman was also charged with assault.
