TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Two people are in custody after an early-morning home invasion.

Hector Munoz, 22, and Christopher Miller, 19, were arrested for aggravated burglary and aggravated kidnapping.

Officers say around 4:30 a.m. Monday, the two robbed a home at 2065 Lane. They were armed with a shotgun and handgun.

One of the suspects was caught immediately outside the residence. The other ran to a home at 2052 SW Buchanan where they were arrested outside. Stolen property from the invasion was also recovered at that time.

While at the home, officers saw someone looking out of the window but refused to come to the door. A SWAT team was called in and eventually the house was cleared out.

The people that came out of the home were interviewed and released.
