WIBW Memories: From 2 to 200!

I must be old as I remember before WIBW went on the air.

We lived in Emporia and my dad purchased the 3 TV in town, a 12" RCA. That was about 1953 when WDAF, ch. 4, was the only station on then. We had a 20' antenna on the roof and watched a lot of "snow" back then. With 13 closer, we saw more of the shows, all B&W, but we were glad for 13 to have 2 places to watch.

Think of the 200 channels now and we thought 2 were great. The good old days.
