But a group that has suported Linda Schneider, the Pain Relief Network, says money has been raised to get her out of jail within days.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Donald Bostwick ruled Monday that Schneider is still a flight risk. He says the $100,000 cash bond on top of the $325,000 unsecured bond is necessary to assure she appears in court to face an indictment accusing her and her husband of wrongfully prescribing medication at their Haysville clinic.
Bostwick noted Schneider's prior conviction on a Social Security fraud case involving an illegal immigrant, among other things.
