KEARNEY, Neb. (AP) _ An arrest warrant has been issued for a Kearney man who was reported missing and found nine days later in a Kansas hospital.

The warrant filed Thursday in Buffalo County Court charges 54-year-old Roger Schmitz with a felony count of theft. He's accused of taking more than $1,300 from his former employer, B&B Glass.

Schmitz is being treated for an undisclosed condition at an Overland Park, Kan., hospital. He'll be arrested upon his release and face extradition to Nebraska.

Schmitz' family reported him missing on Jan. 26. On Wednesday, the hospital contacted police.
