Southwest Flight Makes Emergency Landing Thursday

Hazardous materials teams rushed to a southwest airlines Boeing 737 in Las Vegas, when pilots reported a strange substance in the cabin.

The flight, which came from Kansas City, Missouri landed and was side-lined by emergency officials until rescue teams could get the scene under control.

Emergency officials believe that burning wires created smoke that caused the irritation. Only minor injuries were reported.
