Thousands of students joined Governor Sebelius Thursday to mark Kansas day. They sang "Happy Birthday" to mark the occasion.

Sebelius stopped by the Kansas History Museum to help mark the states' 148th birthday Thursday. Abraham Lincoln was there to help blow out the candles.

The museum celebrated the day with a variety of activities including different programs, hands-on learning experiences, and living history performances.
