WIBW is launching a new network tonight called MyTopekaTv. MyTopekaTV launches Tuesday night at 7pm on Cox Digital Cable Channel 676 with two shows, "Desire" and "Fashion House".
"Desire" is an explosive fast paced drama centered around a restaurant serving up affairs and deceit. Fiona Hunter plays "Erica", the restaurants scheming head waitress. "I get into lots of trouble, I walk in at the right time or I hear what's happening in another situation. It's really fun to play character that turns things around."
The story lines of "Desire" and "Fashion House" run for an hour each night Monday through Friday, with recaps of the weeks show each Saturday. Each show wraps up after 13 weeks.
Which is one of the things that makes MyTopekaTv unique. Hunter says it's something she thinks Northeast Kansans will enjoy. "It's a fantasy land, everyone comes home and they want to escape. It's an hour of escape every night."
If you don't catch the premiere of "Desire" or "Fashion House" Tuesday night on Cox Cable Channel 676, we will have a special airing of them on Channel 13 Wednesday and Thursday from 4-5pm.
