The two new child care development facilities are the first of six that are expected to be completed by December 2010 at Fort Riley. The new centers are approved by the Chief of the Army as part of an accelerated strategy to meet the demands of child care within the Army and to enhance the quality of life for Soldiers and their families.

By 2012-- Fort Riley is expected to be capable of assisting more than two-thousand additional families with their child care needs.
