Jurors found King guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the attack on Lister last summer. Police found the victim gravely wounded in the 1300 hundred block of Lane. He died later at a Topeka hospital.
King's trial lasted ten days. The jury deliberated a second degree murder verdict, but agreed on the lesser charge.
King will be sentenced on March 27th.
