Peanut Butter Product Recall Growing

The salmonella-tainted peanut butter product recall keeps growing.

Three more companies added products to the list Tuesday.
*Nature Path recalled its Peanut Butter Optimum Energy Bars
*Country Maid recalled its Classic Breaks Peanut Butter Cookie Dough
*PetSmart recalled seven of its Grreat Choice Dog Biscuit products that contain peanut paste

With officials warning consumers to avoid any product that contains peanut butter, the maker of Girl Scout cookies issued a statement Tuesday that its products are not affected. They say their peanut butter is not supplied by do PCA or King Nut, the two companies that sparked the concern.

Jars of peanut butter aren't included in the recall either.

Contaminated peanut butter has caused nine cases of salmonella in Missouri and two in Kansas.

A complete list of the more than 20 products included in the recall is available at the Food and Drug Administration's web site.
