Tammy and Theresa, please just don't talk. Take care of your own business first. Its obvious to everyone that neither one of you can do that!!!

I do not know any of the 3 persons who were involved in the accident, all I know is what I've seen on the news and what I've read on here. As an outsider looking in I feel ashamed for some of you. Everyone has, at one point or another in their life, proclaimed about rightful justice. Maybe not in those exact words and maybe not out loud, but there have been situations that have caught any person's attention and they've thought the go-about was wrong. I'm currently that person. This situation has turned into what seems like a pitty-party for Jake. He broke the law and is therefore a criminal. That's not a heartless or biased statement, it's simply the truth. Jake made an unfortunate decision to drive drunk, and the inevitable happened, he caused a one-vehicle accident. As the driver of that truck he was responsible and liable for whatever came about. I understand that Jake may miss his friend, but that doesn't mean justice should be denied.

I think everyone needs to remember how they were when they were that age. Things aren't any different now than they were back then. I was a sophomore in high school when I started dating my husband of almost 24 years now. He is 7 years older than I am. As for critisizing Valley Falls? What about the people who were having the party in Ozawkie? What about the kids around Jefferson County and other counties that are still having parties? I used go to parties all the time when I was in high school. Parents can't watch their kids 24/7. They can only talk to them and hope they make the right decisions. I pray for all the families involved and Hannah, your true friends are the ones who have stuck by you through all of this. Don't worry about what anyone else has to say.
